Version two of the Escher waterfall recreation. Obviously its not a waterfall anymore, because i've decided i'm no good at waterfalls, but very good at making blue bacon! ;) (Wink) I like this better anyway.

Great job, although its tricky to fake stuff when you have GI to point out all the breaks ;) (Wink)

the main thing i notice is that in each set of four pillars, the closest one has no shadows up the top at all.. that would probably be the main giveaway for me :/

really? i thought i put this one together really good :) (Smile) the pillars on the top are a bit smaller, but other than that i think i did ok. thanks though

nice attempt, but you need to do a better job splicing the images together, we can see where they are cause they don't quite mesh together

This is a brave attempt, to say the least. Escher exploited the limitations of using the perspective system of depicting 3D in 2D space by making up down and back front. Your model is interesting, definitely, because you want to twist 3D in 3D space. I wonder how your modeling program allowed you to do it.
