Honeslty i'm not sure haha. I took several pictures and wasn't expecting much, but was surprised at how well they did end up comming out. My camera is usually really bad in dark areas, but I guess the fire was bright enough to give it enough light for a good focus. The fire was a bon fire, if that makes any differance. Probably gives off a lot more light than a fireplace or candle would.
