Does this suck? I'm a fairly new 3D modeler, and i guess a newbie's eyes its good..but i want someone good's opinion. I'd appretiate any feedback, thanks.

the metal on the back could use a different map the angle of the render makes it a little hard to judge the quality of the rest of the model maybe re-submit it at a few different angles. I remember spending days working on getting the perfect model constructed of a Gameboy pocket and in the final render all you could see was the front part in the scene.

appretiate it. i'm still learning 3DS max, and havent quite figured out reflections ;) (Wink)

Fix the wires... smooth them out, change the material... it doesn't look natural at the moment and stands out too much... I agree with ~lostspyder that you need to change table texture and add a bit of reflection.

And I'd like to add that you need a background. Obviosly you got a light source, black background just seems soo unnatural. Even a smiple image of the room should do the trick... you can then edit lights and shadows in PhotoShop :D (Big Grin)

very cool, im not much of a 3d artist, so i cant have too much of an opinion on it, but i think it looks really good!

its not bad. The pollygons need to be smothed on the wire, it looks like there a kink in it. The texture has to be redone on the bottom half. Other then that the modling looks fairly sound. A better render, one with reflections could do it wonders. Also there should be a bump texture on the ehadphones. The texture on the table is crappy. best sugestion tho would to add reflections.
